David Brookes (Brooky) is an integrated PR pro, audio/video producer, best selling author & the founder of Bold Minds Media.

 

Having worked with business leaders, founders and authors for 20 + years he wanted to create an agency that seemlessly integrated traditional PR tactics (media coverage, awards, speaking ops) with deep dive creative content (books, films, podcasts) and social media amplification (Linkedin).

Before founding Bold Ideas, Brooky co-founded Thinking Hat PR which he successfully exited in 2024 after nine years - working with clients such as Amazon, AWS, Sony Music, Deliveroo, The UN  & Duke Corporate Education as well as over a hundred startups and scale up businesses. Previous to that he was Head of Entrepreneur PR at a top 10 London agency where he worked for a decade.​

He has three kids, lives in Edinburgh and loves snowboarding and getting lost. A million years ago he was an English teacher in Japan for three years (which he mentions a lot).
